Dear students,

Please read carefully this important communication with regard to the continuity of your studies.

Following the directives of the Government of Québec, we confirm that the Montréal and Laval campuses of LaSalle College will be closed as of next Monday, March 16, until May 1st inclusively. However, in order to ensure the continuation of our studies, we inform you that your courses will continue online.

Remote learning for students will begin on Tuesday, March 17.

LaSalle College is a pioneer in e-learning, and we are therefore able to offer you a functional and efficient online learning environment. Starting next Tuesday, courses will be given through live virtual classes.

As for next Monday, March 16, the courses are cancelled. However, during the day, we will send you all the details and the procedure to follow in order to be able to connect to your online courses, according to your usual schedule. Check your Omnivox and MIO regularly for all the details to be ready for Tuesday.

For the moment, the online courses are scheduled until May 1st inclusively. We will assess next steps based on the health scenario and government guidelines. Also please note that all on-campus and extra-curricular student activities are cancelled during this period.

We know that this solution will require adjustments, mutual patience, collaboration and flexibility to achieve optimal results. That being said, LaSalle College has been offering online training for several years and relies on its expertise to provide you with a quality experience.

Rest assured that we are doing everything possible to ensure that the transition is smooth and that your session can continue normally. We are convinced that this remote solution will be beneficial, not only to help prevent the spread of the virus, but also to preserve your health, without affecting your studies and all the efforts you have made so far.

Thank you for your collaboration in an unprecedented and rapidly changing global situation.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Myrianne Collin, General Director of LaSalle College
