All United for the Fondation Maman Dion
On Sunday, July 31st, was held Bulles & Marmelade, a chic and urban brunch organized by the Event Planning graduate students for the benefit of the Fondation Maman Dion. Nearly 150 people enjoyed their meal at Le Crystal hotel while listening to musical performances by Quarton and Bubblicious.
The event helped raise the impressive amount of $4,000 and the LCI Education Fondation added another $4,000 for a total amount of $8,000. This donation will allow Fondation Maman Dion to pursue its mission, giving an equal chance of success to all the children in Quebec by allowing them to experience a back-to-school with pride. By providing them school furniture, eye glasses and clothing that are necessary for the beginning of the school year, the Fondation pursues a triple vocation and helps the children to develop a feeling of pride, self-confidence and a desire to succeed.
