Fondation de la mode de Montréal - To help tomorrow’s stars take their place

At the 27th edition of the benefit evening of the Fondation de la mode de Montréal, to be held at Montreal's Olympic Park on Monday, May 9th, $107,000 in graduate scholarships will be awarded to the best newcomers in fashion. 

Thus, the Fondation continues to support and motivate the next generation’s talent so it becomes the new reference on the fashion scene in the coming years, and that, in Montreal and abroad. 

Among the ten (10) 2016 scholars, please note these five (5) LaSalle College graduates:

  • Pierre-Olivier Allard, from Trois-Rivières — Holding a Fashion Design DEC diploma from LaSalle College and currently completing his second year as a student in the Management and Design program at the École supérieure de mode, he will be awarded a postgraduate scholarship in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) to complete a bachelor in Fashion Design and Styling.
  • Jennyfer Gallagher, from Montréal — A Fashion Marketing graduate from LaSalle College, she will be awarded a postgraduate scholarship in the amount of eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000) to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York.
  • Frédéric Joncas, from Québec — Holding a Fashion Design DEC diploma from LaSalle College, and currently completing his second year as a student in the Fashion Management and Design program, Design and Styling option, at the École supérieure de mode, he will first receive an internship scholarship in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) to complete a 13-week internship for Derek Lam, in New York. He will then be awarded with the renewal of his postgraduate scholarship in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) to complete a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Styling, at the École supérieure de mode.
  • Mathieu Joncas, from Québec — Holding a Fashion Design DEC diploma from LaSalle College and currently completing his second year as a student in the Fashion Management and Design program at the École supérieure de mode, he will be awarded with the renewal of his postgraduate scholarship in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) to complete a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Styling.
  • Noémie Vallières, from Montréal — A Fashion Design graduate from LaSalle College, she will receive a postgraduate scholarship in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) to start a bachelor in Fashion Management and Design, Design and Styling option, at the École supérieure de mode.
