This past September 19th, Jonview, Canada’s largest receptive tour operator, participated in the sales techniques courses of all the DEC programs offered by LaSalle College’s International School of Hotel Management & Tourism.
A tour operator is a company that organizes tourist visits using their suppliers’ services (hotels, airlines, restaurants, etc.) and selling them to their clients as a package.
Jonview Canada offers a full range of products and services to international tour operators worldwide. Over the past 30 years, the company has built relationships with more than 2,000 Canadian suppliers.
Mr. Octavio Amaro, Jonview’s Lead Sales Manager, will host a variety of presentations and activities throughout September. What is his goal? To help students develop the skills they need during a receptive tour operator’s sales cycle—meaning offering accommodations, travel and activities in the country being visited.
Through this involvement and alongside their teachers, LaSalle College students will be able to step up their performance for their term project. It’s a real frontline experience!
