Students of the Introduction to e-business class in the Business Management DEC program made a very special visit in November!

Approximately 25 of them visited WeWork's new location on the Canadiens-de-Montréal Avenue.

WeWork is a co-working space that goes beyond just renting offices. This American start-up, founded in 2010, offers an ecosystem that promotes business growth and development. Synergy between all members is favored.

The purpose of the visit was to introduce students to the entrepreneurship world, and to counter the misconception that one needs a lot of resources to start a business.

They discovered a relaxed environment favorable to work, and even fun.

Students also had to make links with their course by identifying the integration of new business technologies into their concept, and determine how it would benefit them.

During their visit, they met many inspiring freelancers, small businesses, startups or even established companies such as Google or Bombardier.
