Soirée Mode | LaSalle College

Soirée Mode Collège LaSalle

November 6, 2015

Fashion Marketing students at LaSalle College are proud to present the second edition of the annual Soirée Mode Collège LaSalle (SMCL) on two nights, Friday November 20th and Saturday November 21st at LaSalle College. The event, presented in an enormous white bubble, will showcase this season’s trends. This fashion show is divided in 5 themes: MUSE, 452B, [NAWRM], TRNS and ODDITY.

Five themes, five universes

MUSE is a universe of innovation and creativity. Fashion is a blank canvas with a million of possibilities. Art takes form in the most unexpected ways. MUSE is a vibrant vision that will stimulate all senses.

Define: [Nawrm] is an ironic return to an ultra-conformist subculture bracing unity, androgyny and simplicity.

TRNS
. Transition. Burnt out from the constant pressure to perform and do exceedingly well, exhaustion pervades every action causing lethargy. Drowning in the status quo, the reaction forces a transition to passive aggression.

ODDITY
invites the crowd in a world where nothing is usual. A celebration of the freaks, misfits and weirdos within us all by mixing the traditional, outlandish circus fun with today’s latest trends. It’s time to bring the strange into normal.

STRUCTURAL FAILURE

What would be an event of this caliber without any official after-party? That is why the graduates of the LaSalle College Event Planning Program present STRUCTURAL FAILURE, the official after-party of SMCL that will be held Saturday, November 21st, 2015 at 9 p.m. in the Parasuco building, located on the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Crescent. Tickets will be sold at the door for $15 each.
