An active Fall for our teachers on the website profweb.ca

This Fall, three teachers from the LaSalle College contributed to the profweb.ca website, a platform which offers resources and a space to share for college-level teaching.

In September 2016, Pascale Warmoes, a teacher on the Special education technicians course and Jonathan Mina, a teacher for general training and on the Humanities and Arts, letters and communications courses, published an account of their experience using the Smartpen as a learning tool. This initiative from the active learning Committee was possible through a SALTISE scholarship. On November 30th, Ariane Arpin-Delorme, a teacher on the tourism courses, published her second piece called “Teaching in Tourism... Live from Kenya and South Africa!" In it, she writes about the three weeks that she spent on the African continent, during which she took part in the 6th edition of the tourism fair in Nairobi whilst giving distance classes to her students in Montreal.
