The LaSalle College Environmental Committee is proud to participate in Quebec Waste Reduction Week starting October 21st to 25th 2019.

Activities will occur on the Mezzanine between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. every day to bring more awareness and inform people on the different options we have in order to reduce waste.

Here are the activities that will be offered by the LaSalle College Environmental Committee throughout the week:

“Give or Take” self-service booth: offer a second life to your objects and clothing (all week)
Environmental Committee information booth: talk to Committee members about the green team (all week)
Environmental quiz: learn more about the current reality (Monday)
Upcycling with the Fashion Design program: revamp your old clothes (Wednesday)
“One day at a time” challenge: how to start reducing your waste one step at a time (Tuesday and Friday)
Zero waste conference (Thursday)
Lufa Farms booth with fresh, local and sustainable produce in a city (Thursday)

EXCLUSIVE OFFER: the cafeteria will offer a free coffee for every green cup bought from the Environmental Committee booth.
