MULTICULTURAL MTL, a series of documentary short films created by graduates of the Arts, Literature and Communication - Culture and Media Option program, will be presented at Cinéma Moderne.
The films explore the effects of Montréal’s multicultural society on artists in the fields of art, fashion and music.
Sophia Taylor’s work addresses the issues of the fashion and modeling industry, while that of Oscar Josa features Montréal based clothing brand Jesser Clothing, and Sharon Cooperman discovers the Montréal music scene through the lens of several artists, including rapper L.Teez and BigDaddy, independent artist.
Come and enjoy Laura Cano’s photo exhibition on the dichotomy between Montréal’s cold winters and vibrant personalities, as well as food and beverages in the movie café-bar.
