Celebrating its 60th anniversary in style, LaSalle College once again took part in the Festival Mode & Design with “Exuberance,” a multidisciplinary fashion show honouring art in all forms.

At sunset on August 23, 2019, students in their final year and well-known graduates from the International School of Fashion, Arts and Design created a buzz in the Quartier des spectacles.

They showcased their creations as part of the colorful show celebrating LaSalle College’s 60 years of avant-garde, with music from Y Pop Coit and DJ Frigid.

The first half of the fashion show was dedicated to our well-known graduates. Collections from Denis Gagnon, Maison Marie Saint Pierre, Markantoine, Oscar Mendoza, Jérôme C. Rousseau, Valérie Dumaine, V-Franz, Betina Lou and Marmier, Pascal Labelle, Harricana and Canadian Hat, Claudette Floyd, Jessy Colucci, Lamarque, Landscape and Roxanne Nikki were all presented on stage, with each showcasing four creations.

The spectators were then transported into the sparkling world of the International School of Fashion, Arts and Design’s creators of tomorrow with a series of creations from our 2019 final-year students.

The majority of the creations were presented at Signature 2019, Canada’s largest fashion show.

Throughout the entire week, festival-goers were able to visit Lasalle College’s colorful booth at Festival Mode & Design, to admire our students’ creative projects.

In addition, our graduate Jérôme C. Rousseau (creator of luxury shoes for Hollywood stars) held a highly anticipated conference about his career, his influences and his creative process.
