Beginning of the fall session 2021 - Important information Covid-19

As announced on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, there will be an extension and strengthening of the government's instructions in relation to Quebec containment in the context of COVID-19. These measures extend until February 8 inclusively.

You will find below some important information for the beginning of the winter season.

For more details regarding the winter back-to-school season, consult Omnivox and the orientation platform on a regular basis.

Beginning of the courses

  • The first week of classes will take place as planned from January 11th for the DEC and AEC. (For the DEP and certificates from the School of Fashion, Arts and Design, courses will begin the week of January 18th)
  • For a majority of students, the first week of classes will be held at a distance.
  • Some exceptions apply, for example, type C-3 technical courses could take place on campus.
  • As of January 18th, courses will follow the scheduled schedule.

Curfew and evening classes

  • Students who have evening classes on campus that end after 8:00 p.m. will be able to continue their program.
  • These students will receive an official attestation from the College authorizing travel after curfew.

Adjusted sanitary measures on campus

  • Physical distancing and hand cleaning measures are maintained.
  • A free distribution of procedure masks (blue masks) will be given out at the College entrance.
  • Students will be able to get a new procedure mask every 4 hours.
  • Wearing the mask is mandatory at all times, including in the classrooms.

Access to services

  • All of our student services are available remotely. Although a few people from the administrative team will be available on campus, it is recommended to use the online tools.

Preparing for the new school year

  • Students must log in to TEAMS and follow the login procedures before the start of their first class. Learn more about it.

As the situation changes frequently, we will continue to monitor the situation closely. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact your student coordinator.
