Signature Fashion Show 2014

Two performances were scheduled: one at 4 p.m. and the other at 7:30 p.m. Every year, more than 5,000 people attend this 24-year-old event to admire the results of countless hours of creativity. The approximately 100 students representing diverse backgrounds were proud to present the culmination of three years of studies in this fashion show featuring more than 15 very modern and trendy scenes. This year, Evik Asatoorian, Designer and Founder of Rudsak, had the honor of being the spokesperson for the event. To mark this collaboration, one of the scenes of the show presented a collection inspired by the Rudsak brand. Developed entirely by students of the Fashion Design program as part of their training, the pieces shown fit perfectly with the spirit of the renowned label.

The Rudsak – LaSalle College Montreal Collaboration: An Experience Unheard Of

Since October 2012, and that for a period of three entire semesters, roughly one hundred students were supervised by a dozen experienced teachers in the making of looks based on the technical specifications, the commercial constraints of the industry and the fabric and leather provided by Rudsak. Ultimately, some of the items created will be commercialised by Rudsak at select stores. These students had the opportunity to take part in a very enriching academic experience that has allowed them to understand the realities of the job market that awaits them.

“I remember walking through the corridors of LaSalle College, fueled by the ambition and aspiration for creating. This year, Rudsak is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Through the years, there have been challenges. Overcoming them has been most gratifying. It is very rewarding to have the opportunity to share all this knowledge that I have acquired through the years and guide emerging talents in the right direction,” commented Evik Asatoorian concerning his collaboration with Signature 2014.
