Photography, Artistic Makeup and Hairstyling students actively contributed to Relève mode, a fashion show organized by Youth Fusion.

The Relève mode challenge is a project that initiates high school teenagers to the world of fashion design, providing them with the tools they need to design a fashion line. They are backed by LaSalle College’s students and teachers, among others.

On May 2, the participants participated in a photo shoot for their lookbook, in the Inter-Dec College’s (now LaSalle College) photography studio.

It’s Michel Cloutier’s Photography class that immortalized the students’ creations. As for the Makeup and Hairstyling students, it was their job to get the models all glammed up.

The highlight of the project was the Relève mode gala, which took place on May 15, where the students presented their creations before guests and a panel of judges. Students also did the makeup and hairstyling for the models who took to the catwalk at this event held at the Olympic Stadium.

Youth Fusion is a charitable organization whose mission is to help keep children in school, enhance employability and contribute to the civic engagement of youth by setting up innovative experiential learning initiatives that build permanent relationships between schools and communities.
