Magasin du Chaînon, in partnership with LaSalle College and Groupe Sensation Mode, held their first fashion show benefit on February 21.

Nearly $9,000 were raised for the Chaînon organization, the largest women's shelter in Quebec.

Around fifty looks were created from pieces found in the shop by the stylists – Andrew McNally (a teacher at LaSalle College), journalist Claude Laframboise and blogger Lolitta Dandoy, who was also the event’s honorary sponsor.

The fashion show took place inside the store, which was entirely redecorated for the occasion.

The guests then had the opportunity to take part in a unique shopping experience, with volunteer student stylists from LaSalle College offering expert advice. Canapés were served by Hotel Management students from the college.

Students studying Beauty at LaSalle College provided hair and make-up services for the runway models.

Sandra Parker, director of philanthropic development for the LCI Education network, was also present at the event.

A big thank you to our students for making this evening such a great success!
