3rd place for LaSalle College at the 2016 Tourism Games

As part of the 4^th edition of the Tourism Games taking place in Laval from April 15 to 17, LaSalle College won the 3rd place overall.

First, we salute the exemplary performance of LaSalle College’s team during the Quiz map competition. The team, made up of Christian Vasquez Aubé, Hadrian Lebé and Marc Gravel, did indeed finish in 1st place for this event.

Also, we would like to congratulate the team who participated in the General Knowledge Tourism Quiz event, who finished in 2nd place after a heated battle in the final round. The team consisted of Reda Jahouari, Olaitan Obe and Leah Hammon.

Finally, we would like to applaud Renato Yavar who won second place at the Customer Service competition.

A special mention to all other participants and teachers who, through their commitment towards this extracurricular activity, enabled LaSalle College stand on the third step of the podium at the 2016 Tourism Games. By participating in this event, students were given the opportunity to expand their network and meet emerging talents in the tourism industry. This is the case of Stephany Calvay Jimenez who, following his participation at the Games, was offered a $ 1,000 scholarship and an internship at Clientis, a marketing communications company primarily active in the tourism industry.
