Two students from the International School of Business and Technologies had the opportunity to attend the leadership camp at the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) in Melbourne, Australia.

Veronica Vargas and Alexandre Lacote’s trip to the World Congress’ 2018 Young Leaders Camp was entirely funded by LaSalle College. They were selected from among 40 candidates, all students of the Business Management program.

Veronica Vargas described her trip as “one of the best experiences of [her] life!”

“We attended talks with guests from around the world on conflict resolution, teamwork, and non-profits. We saw how education can help the world and how to take action.

We learned that we can become much more than we ever imagined.

It gave me the chance to better appreciate my experience at LaSalle College, because it showed me a whole new side of the world.

The camp helped me see how I can make the world better. It gave me new tools to add to those that I’ve gotten from the College.

It greatly helped my future career. I was able to meet young leaders from all over the world and build a network in the education sector.

I found my voice, along with the need for us young leaders to make the world a better place.

Check out this page to see the video we made.”
