On December 5, a themed dinner to support the Bocuse d’Or Canada team was held at La Classe Restaurant. Students in the Cooking DEP designed and cooked a three-course menu and prepared delicious appetizers for the guests.

Three members of the Bocuse d’Or Canada team were also on hand. The students were clearly grateful for the opportunity to meet these elite chefs and benefit from their valuable advice.

The Bocuse d’Or is the most prestigious culinary competition in the world. It features candidates from nearly 70 countries and takes place in three stages over two years. First, a national selection takes place in each country to determine which candidate will move on to the continental stage. From there, only 24 finalist countries make it into the final stage to showcase their culinary traditions. This competition’s grand finale will take place in 2021 at Sirha, the global hospitality and food service event in Lyon.
