On September 28, Réseau Action TI hosted a Next Generation Evening at the Montreal École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS).

Action TI is the largest IT community in Quebec. It brings together players from Quebec’s information technology industry and encourages them to take action.

The goal of this event was to raise awareness among people in the industry by inviting them to get involved and work together to meet information technology challenges and celebrate the next generation of professionals.

Companies in attendance first met with students to discuss opportunities in the industry.

Then, Réseau ACTION TI awarded a $750 scholarship to Abdul Rahman Sadiq, a LaSalle College student in the Computer Science Technology – Administrative Data Processing program. This scholarship rewards him for academic performance, school involvement and sustained commitment to the technology field.

We congratulate Abdul and wish him all the best!
