Would you like to learn more about LaSalle College?

If you are in your last year of high school or are considering starting a DEC or a DEP soon, this day is for you.

The “Student for a day” activity allows you to discover our personnel, programs, facilities and exceptional quality of education.

The day includes:

  • 9 a.m.: Welcome speech
  • 9:30 a.m.: Student services presentation
  • 10 a.m.: Class simulation or a workshop in your field of interest
  • Noon: Guided tour of the College
  • 12:30 p.m.: Lunch, courtesy of LaSalle College!
  • 1:30 p.m.: End of the activity

This day will greatly help you decide which training is the best for you.

  • Business: "Did you know?" Activity
  • Computer Sciences: Computer Sciences 101
  • Cooking: Local Cuisine Workshop
  • Food Services: Mixology Workshop
  • Tourism: Sustainable Tourism
  • Hotel Management: Front Desk Techniques
  • Special Care Counselling: Helping Relationship Class
  • Early Childhood Education: Communication Skills and Helping Relationship Classes
  • Social Sciences: Culture and Ethnicity Class and Math & Stats Workshop

Are you interested in the fields of tourism, hotel management, food services or event planning? An additional afternoon activity is also offered to you.

Starting at 2 p.m., you will have the chance to take a guided tour of a major Montréal hotel with one of our teachers. You will discover the environment and various professions of the hotel industry, as well as the Work-Integrated Learning option.
