Fashion Patternmaker

The Fashion Patternmaker program trains professionals
to become patternmakers in the fashion industry. A
patternmaker’s work consists of assisting the
production manager to produce, oversee and
maintain quality control in the development
of a design team’s concepts.

Students will assist the production manager to
create collections adapted to the needs of an
ever-changing clientele, balancing client demands
and creation requirements.

Lastly, this program provides graduates with
both an edge when entering the job market
and professional mobility, enabling them to
efficiently manage their careers and develop
their entrepreneurship.

Employment Prospects

Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to make the most of their skills and work in a number of possible positions:

Admission criteria

  • As per admissions criteria for an AEC, set by the ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport.
