During the 2017 Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA) Gala, Xiaoyi Li, LaSalle College Fashion Design alumna, won The Simons Fashion Design Student Award, awarded to an exceptional Fashion Design student who has recently graduated from a Canadian Fashion Design Program.

During her acceptance speech on the Fairmont Royal York’s stage in Toronto, she took the time to thank François Bousquet, director of the International School of Fashion, Arts and Design and Milan Tanedjikov, Fashion Design teacher at LaSalle College for their support in her career.

Not only has her talent been recognized nationwide on Friday, April 7 at the CAFA Awards Gala, but she has also been awarded the AOF Scholarship Paris Masterclass Award on the 2016 edition of the Arts of Fashion competition in San Francisco, last October.

We wish to extend our warmest congratulations to Xiaoyi Li!
