Teacher Heather Sorella received the Association québécoise de pédagogie collégiale (AQPC) Honourable Mention from the hands of Hélène David, Minister of Higher Education.

Her skills and devotion, the quality of her work as well as the passion she puts into her work each and every day were highlighted alongside 59 other teachers from colleges in Quebec during the ceremony held this past June 18^th.

Each year, the AQPC awards an Honourable Mention to one of the professors in the college network who has distinguished themselves through their commitment to education and their contribution to the quality of college-level teaching. Those honored are nominated by their peers, from each participating establishment.

Heather Sorella is a teacher in the Fashion Marketing program offered by LaSalle College’s International School of Fashion, Arts and Design.

Fashion Trip: Discovering the Fashion Scene Backstage in New York

A group of fashion students left Montréal for a few days to visit the icons and exhibitions of one of the four major fashion capitals: New York. Their trip included a visit to Tiffany & Co., to the headquarters and archives of Gap, to Bergdorf Goodman, to the MET's Costume Institute and to the FIT Museum.

Signature 2023 Introduces Fashion’s Future Stars

More than 1500 spectators attend the Signature fashion show every year, making it the largest in Canada for nearly 30 years.
