On Tuesday May 2nd, ENTREPRISE 2017 was held at Salle Pierre-Mercure of Centre Pierre-Péladeau, a major annual event presented by the Fashion Marketing graduates. This event is an initiative from LaSalle College’s International School of Fashion, Arts and Design, offering an opportunity to the graduates to demonstrate their entrepreneurial vision acquired over these three years of study, by presenting their innovative business concept to a jury composed of influents members of fashion and business industry.
Of the six finalist teams chosen during the semi-finals on April 26th, the jury had to select the best business concept that met the evaluation criteria such as innovation and market potential. This year, the jury was formed of:

Six Finalist Teams
During the ENTREPRISE 2017 semi-finals presented by Ardene, the jury selected the 6 finalist teams for the big event: Bid 2 Win, CHLDRN, Les Fringués, Entity, Bubble Baby and Toc-Loc. The members of the jury were Mr. Gildas Awuye, co-founder of d'Atelier New Regime; Mrs. Sophie Beauchamp, Senior Marketing Director at Ardene; Mr. Jean-Philippe Bourdeau, Senior Director - Digital Growth at Absolunet; Mr. Vito Cassotta, Senior Retail Buyer at Michael Kors; Mrs. Maria Varvarikos-Peart, president of ZOÏ Agency and Mr. François Bousquet, Director of the International School of Fashion, Arts and Design at LaSalle College.
The Big Winners
Team ENTITY was crowned winner of the evening, going home with a $2,000 bursary granted by Groupe Dynamite. ENTITY is a vertically integrated online retailer of sustainable bags. Built on authenticity and transparency ENTITY delivers high functionality through a minimalist aesthetic.

Af for the "Public’s Pick”, team Toc-Loc won the $1,000 bursary on behalf of Ardene. Their mission is to create a new consumption-based community through a virtual door-to-door platform. By providing marketing to Quebec-based companies, Toc-Loc wants to make a difference in Quebec by collaborating with individuals, fund-raising organizations or local product consumers.
