Visit the UN as well as several important places important the business and politics world in New York City? Students had the opportunity to do so, accompanied by their teacher Osman Kaplan.

On November 23, he left with two of his groups from his International Relations and Organizational Communication courses on a trip to New York City.

During this trip, the students attended a briefing at the UN, on the topic of “Crisis in Syria: Civil War, Global Threat”.

They also visited the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council and the Secretariat at the United Nations. 

During the trip, they also spent some time at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum which includes the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, the submarine USS Growler, a Concorde SST, a Lockheed A-12 supersonic reconnaissance plane, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise.

They made a stop at the American Museum of Natural History, which contains animals, fossils, minerals, rocks, meteorites, and human cultural artifacts.

This trip was an opportunity for the students to enhance their conceptual understanding of the paradigms of business and politics, while engaging intellectually, creatively, and emotionally in the educational process.
