From April 26th to May 1st, we invite you to enter the world imagined by our students and to listen, experience and appreciate their creativity.
Body / Time / Space is the theme proposed to the graduating students in the Arts, Literature and Communication Program, Arts and Design Option at LaSalle College. Body, time and space are common parameters that define humankind, in all its diversity. These concepts, whether linked or separate, offer many possibilities of reflection. Each artwork presented in this exhibition is linked to this theme and offers a unique student vision related to human experience in our world.
During their two years in the program, students acquired a vast knowledge that now allows them to critically analyze contemporary cultural practices. In addition, through the exploration of many mediums, they have learned how to use the language specific to the arts in order to better communicate their ideas. This knowledge also helped them to actively be engaged in their personal artistic practice.
From April 26th to May 1st, we invite you to enter the world imagined by our students and to listen, experience and appreciate their creativity. The art gallery will be open between noon and 5 PM. A vernissage will be held on Wednesday, April 27th, at 6:30 PM at Galerie Carte Blanche. It is located at 1851-1853, Amherst Street, Montreal.
