Immigration Consultant

The Consultant in Immigration program at
LaSalle College was conceived in accordance
with the latest standards and enrollment conditions
of the CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration
Consultants
).

The CSIC is an independent non-profit
organization that does not depend on the Federal
government. It is responsible for overseeing  the
activity of immigration consultants.

In accordance with the organization’s 
norms, the goal of this program is to provide
students with the knowledge and skills required
to become accredited by the CSIC and embark
on a dynamic career as an immigration consultant.

Employment Prospects

By the end of this program, students will have acquired the knowledge and skills to work freelance or for an agency, to represent clients’ dealings with the Canadian government in matters relating to:

  • immigration and
  • protection of refugies.

Admission Criteria

  • have completed two years of post-secondary studies;
  • have passed a language test administered by LaSalle College.

 

SCHEDULE

For the semester starting on August 3rd 2009 this program is only offered by night in english (between 6pm and 10pm).
