The Fashion Design concentration is intended
for students wishing to express their creative talent.

Its purpose is to train designers  to create an original
collection, while respecting predetermined criteria,
and to learn each step of the creative process. 

The courses are set up in a stimulating way
to develop the student’s creativity, dexterity,
and good taste. The program is made up of
a common course unit and two specialization
options.  After the first year, students must
choose to concentrate on men’s fashions
or women’s fashions.  Other options for
students include working with leather,
fur and costumes for theatre.

Admission criteria

Have obtained a Secondary School Diploma (DES) and completed the following courses :

  • Language of Instruction from Secondary V
  • Second Language from Secondary V
  • Mathematics from Secondary IV
  • Physical Sciences from Secondary IV
  • History from Secondary IV

or

Have obtained a Professional Studies Diploma (DEP) and completed the following courses:

  • Language of Instruction from Secondary V
  • Second Language from Secondary V
  • Mathematics from Secondary IV

or

Have obtained an equivalent education or an instruction deemed sufficient. Every case will be analysed by the college.

Level

  • This Program leads to a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC)
    (Senior Matriculation).
  • Holders of a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Fashion Design can, if they wish, pursue university studies.
