Software, Materials and Equipment

Necessary Software, Materials and Equipment

  • Have a computer with a high speed connection to the Internet—courseware and virtual classes require that you remain connected via cable to the Internet for the entire time;
  • Check to make sure your computer has these minimum required configurations for the program.
  • Application software and peripherals required for the course. Please note that the online and virtual class platform is compatible with both Mac and PC systems, but some of the software taught is compatible only with the Windows platform.
  • Sound Card, headphones and microphones .
  • Scanner.

Where can I buy the software necessary for my class ?

Which software I need to buy for next semester ?

You will need to wait for the first class before purchasing any software required for your training. You teachers may have some specifications (version, software, etc.) concerning the products and will guide you to make the best purchases.

Computer Support

When will I receive my schedule for the next semester ?

Schedules are available on Omnivox or on my.ilasallecampus.com one to two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester.

How to ?

How do I access my virtual classes ?

You can access your virtual classes in one of two ways:

1. Login to the http://my.ilasallecampus.com site with your user name and password. Then click on the date of your course in the calendar located at the bottom of the home page and enter the programmed session for the day. N.B. Be sure to click on the correct date.

2. Open the URL link you receive by email the day of your course and access your session with your user name and password. 

Ensure that your browser is not set to block pop-up ads and deactivate your firewall. Do the following test https://ilasalle.adobeconnect.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm to make sure that your computer and network are ready for a virtual class. 


How do I access recordings of virtual classes ?

Go to the My Classes section in the virtual campus, then pick the class that you wish to see and click on the date of the playback. The recording will be available a few hours after the end of the class.
